Natural brand photography with Susan Ryrie Therapies

Capturing photos for a new website that features horses and dogs. It has to be a natural photography experience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Susan Ryrie, a musculoskeletal therapist working with humans, dogs and horses.

Susan works in South Gloucestershire and her motivation is to help others improve their quality of life, through gentle muscle release techniques and this includes dogs and horses too.

Susan has always loved animals and now loves to help ease stress, trauma and pain for them too.

With Susan’s calm, natural and gentle approach she has received wonderful feedback from previous clients.

New website - new photography to help connect authentically and tell the story behind Susan Ryrie Therapies.

Susan was having a new website designed and wanted to include some imagery that really reflected her and her business. It was important that the imagery wasn’t staged as Susan really wanted to capture the experience of the services that she offers to her clients and showcase the natural, easy and relaxed approach that she feels helps make others feel comfortable and benefits their health and wellbeing.

Susan and I spent some time planning the photography session. We were to focus on capturing Susan at home, in the garden and in the space that she spent time relaxing before moving on to focus on the therapies Susan offers. Next it was the dogs turn and sharing the canine therapies. Susan spent some time playing and working with the dog (who absolutely loved the camera and seemed to enjoy every minute) before we set off to the stables to showcase Susan’s magical power of touch and gentle approach to equine therapy.

The afternoon quickly went by and together we captured some beautiful photos that truly share Susan's gentle, kind nature and her soothing therapeutic touch.

This photography session with Susan all came together so organically. The dogs and horses were on their best behaviour, the sun was bright and the sky was clear and Susan really relaxed into the session.

The imagery we have created is beautiful and the natural colours of the greens, whites and browns is very complimentary to the natural relaxed vibe of Susan and the business.

When Susan received the images she was extremely happy. Here’s what she had to say:
