Embracing slow living and nature at this time for your health and wellbeing - March 2020
I would like to reach out to you all to come together and connect through nature to ground yourself and your family during this time of uncertainty.
At this time I feel that it is important for us to come together as a community and I am inviting you to do this through nature and by embracing this opportunity to slow down for your own health and wellbeing.
Being outside is proven to be beneficial to our health and I would love to encourage you to take some time out each day to connect with nature for you and your family.
I will be continuing to keep in touch with you via a weekly email sharing my world with you through nature based photography, nature connection activities and creative activities for you and your family.
If you would like to join my online community of families during this time then please follow the link and join in. This is a place for us to share our everyday life with our children with a focus on how nature can inspire us to connect and get creative with our children.
It is my aim is to help others stay grounded, connected and healthy through nature based photography and activities. Please join me on this mission.
I will be arranging nature photo walks to come together online over the next few weeks. These will be organised via zoom and scheduled for families to come together and also for individuals to take time out and feel grounded for their own wellbeing. More details to follow soon.
All Connect and Create events are currently postponed, however they will be reviewed as time goes on and I hope to get some outdoor nature days booked in the diary for June 2020.
You can still support the current Connect and Create project (which has 12 days left) and help the business purchase a collection of refurbished cameras to enable others to access these nature photo walks. I have seen the benefits this activity has for the younger and older generation and I would love to get this project fully funded.
You can donate and select your reward via the link below.
On Saturday 21st March I will be talking to BBC Radio Bristol about the current project and how I am currently raising money to inspire others to connect with nature through nature based photography. You can listen live and hear all about it from 1.10pm on the Laura Rawlings show.
Family and business photography sessions are postponed until further notice.
I will be reviewing each booking on an individual basis with those concerned and navigating this time in collaboration, through open, honest conversations.
It is important that we all continue to support each other.
A simple nature connection activity for you.
Take a seat, open the window or go into the garden and take a moment to look up at the clouds.
As you gaze up, look at the shapes and the patterns.
Notice the speed of the wind. Feel the breeze on your face and in your hair.
Listen to the sounds around you. What can you hear?
How do you feel right at this moment? How does your body feel?
Embrace these five minutes to slow down and ground yourself.
Take these five minutes to stop and ground your mind, body and soul.”
— CLAIRE VICTORIA

Please get in touch if you’d like to connect or talk over the possibility of working together in the future.
